Gavi meets his Barcelona teammates for the first time after his horrific injury

Barcelona’s midfielder, Gavi met with his teammates at the club for the first time after he picked an injury while on international duty with Spain.

Barcelona confirmed that he has a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and an associated injury to the lateral meniscus. According to the club, the player will have surgery in the coming days after which the club will release another update.

Gavi has made 15 appearances for Barça, having started 13 of those games. The midfielder has scored against Villarreal in the league and Royal Antwerp in the Champions League and he has also provided one assist.
